• A student may submit an
entry in any of six arts
areas.
• Only original works of art
are accepted.
18. LEVELS OF ACHIEVEMENT
1st & 2nd from all grades + special artists go to
Tom Mathis Council (TMC)
TMC Winners -> State
State Winners -> National PTA
2017-18 state winners were displayed at
the HIGH Museum of Art in Atlanta!
24. STUDENT ENTRY FORMS
• Each entry must contain
– Title
– Artist Statement
• Communicates what inspired the work
• How it relates to the theme
• Content of the work
• Must include at least 10 words and not exceed 100 words.
25. Tell the judges
• How your work illustrates the theme.
• Why you chose this medium.
• What materials you used.

26. SUBMISSION
• Submit works to the
PTSA room by 8:00 AM
