2. Throughout its history in the Denver area, the
Denver Scholarship Foundation has provided
valuable financial support to countless students
in the region. In addition to financial
contributions, the Denver Scholarship
Foundation relies heavily on its network of
volunteers, who have contributed more than
14,000 hours in support of the organization’s
mission. Thanks to the efforts of its volunteers,
the Denver Scholarship Foundation has
delivered advice and scholarships to more than
33,000 Colorado students.
3. Denver Scholarship Foundation volunteers
typically work at Future Centers, where they
provide direct assistance to College Advisors.
Volunteers handle a number of responsibilities,
including helping students practice their college
interviews, write essays for college
applications, and navigate the FAFSA website.
Volunteers may also work in the student
services department, where they staff FAFSA
workshops, conduct mock interviews, and
make reminder phone calls to students. The
Foundation also welcomes volunteers in its
offices and at its special events.
