think/do about your digital life?
Response - My parents think that digital life has become an important part of
our lives now.
•To be successful in the modern digital generation we have to be UPDATED.
It also has many benefits like it increases the concentration level , improves
reflex actions because of playing games , it also don’t limit are abilities or
capabilities and we can even showcase our talents by means of INTERNET
and spread it throughout the net. e.g.- Uploading videos on YOUTUBE
, participating in competitions ONLINE .

Response - No , as I work in an office in Ghaziabad and my parents are in
Lucknow

Discourage you from spending so much time behind a
screen?
Response - "Spending much of the time behind a screen is not good
for health" I am always told by my mother . After hearing the harms I
quickly jump out of my chair and my parents always encourage me to
do things which are also important like the digital life of a man.

and how much do you have to pay?
Response - I have an internet connection [unlimited] which costs me
about
700 per month. Sometimes I buy XBOX games costing about 2500 each
or higher . I buy 1 game in 3 months .

Response - As I am working in a company now so I pay mostly for my
expenses but sometimes my parents pay to things which I am not able to

Response - Mostly I don’t buy anything which is secondhand.

Response - For most of the times I don’t buy music CD’S and movies . I
download them on internet.

Response Ques. 1- Do you spend time on playing
games?
Response - Yes, I devote a lot time to games. Games
are my favourite recreation. I am a real hardcore
gamer.

do you use and why?
Response - use PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable and PC.
I use PS2 and PSP because they are made for gaming so it
is recommended to have a good gaming console to
experience real action.

Response - No, I haven't changed any platform yet but I am
planning to buy a PlayStation 3 for HD gaming experience.
Response Ques. 4- What kind of games do you play and why?
Response - I play a lot of violent games. I also play a lot of games
which require strategic planning such as Age Of Empires and Tomb
Raider. I am a gaming freak.
Response Ques. 5- Have your tastes changed?
Response - Yes, I have started to take interest in racing games such as
Need For Speed but I don't indulge into them anymore because my
priority should be studies and sports as these are the only things that
will help me build my future.

Response - No, I don't play online games as you cannot be sure about
the content and people you might encounter during online play.
Response Ques. 7- Does playing games makes you more or
less social?
Response - Yes, according to me playing online games makes you
somewhat social as you are able to encounter more and more
people and ask them for a game. But this social interaction can also
turn into a mess.
Response Ques. 8- How much time and money do you spend on
playing games?
Response -.I spend 1-2 hours daily on gaming to entertain myself. It
also serves as a medium to refreshment and as it comes to money, I
spend more money than required on buying PS2 and PSP games but I
never buy games for PC. I download games from internet.

Response Ques. 6- Do you worry about that? Do your parents?
Response worry a lot about this because too much gaming can affect
my eyes as well as studies. My parents too worry a lot about me as they
cannot watch me getting obsessed with gaming and spoiling my career
and eyes.
Response Ques. 6- If you had to think up a computer game
yourself, what would it be like?
Response I would like to design a game which would provide knowledge
as well as entertainment to players such as Assassin’s Creed as this
game provides a lot of knowledge about historic events as well as
entertainment. It is an ideal game.

Response Ques. 1-How has your digital life
changed in your lifetime ?
Response - It had changed dramatically. Earlier there were mobiles
with no camera facility but now each and every phone has this facility.
And these devices help us to connect to internet every time.
Response Ques. 2- How has your parents or your
grandparents digital life changed in theirs ?
Response - Earlier when our parents want to send some message
to their relatives ,they have to wait for weeks for their reply but
now with the help of SMS services they are able to get
instantaneous reply.

Response - Very seldom, once in 2 years.Becuase of rapid
change or advancement in technology.

Response - The gap between the virtual and the real world would
decrease.

Response - It should develop in such a way that everyone would get some

Response Ques. 1- What do my parents think about my digital life?
Response - 20th century has left us baffled about the things technology
can do. I however accept these changes as boons to our humanitarian
needs and treat digitalization as a great achievement. Nowadays how
can think of life without means of communication, transportation or as a
matter of fact livelihood cannot be continued without digitalization and I
regret to say were depended on them and they have become essential
to us this is the truth of the younger generation
Response Ques. 2- Do they monitor your Internet use?
Response - Yes, they do monitor my Internet use night and day
software’s and apps alike have been developed to monitor one’s data
usage, files downloaded /uploaded and record of history of webpages
you’ve been browsing thru and keep thorough time limit of your internet
usage .

Response Ques. 1- Do they set privacy /access settings
Response - Hmm… No, the time has not come yet that one may take one’s
belonging away and hinder away into one’s privacy. That is not correct and
even the law doesn’t approve this action
Response Ques. 2-How much your digital equipment cost? Have you
ever bought 2nd hand?
Response - Much of my digital equipment is actually donated by my
wealthy aunt who lives in the States so I don’t really have the price of
my equipment. For an estimate I’m a heavy developer and practice
code writing and so was gifted a laptop on my 14th birthday which
costs around 90,000 Rs. And my gifted iPhone now costs about 25,000Rs.
