Membership Program
The DirectBuy membership program is available in two levels: the Gold access and the Platinum
access.
The Gold Access is the most popular member level, which entitles members to purchasing
privileges, local delivery access, installation services, and Club Exclusives, among other things.
Members also get a Direction catalog and privilege to shop at the store chain’s independent
locations, which provides access to local product suppliers and designers, along with merchant
discounts. Transshipment privileges, or shipping to other DirectBuy locations, are also provided.
The Platinum Access provides all the conveniences of the Gold plan, along with the services of the
store’s Concierge Services Agents. They can work with the local club staff for a better shopping
experience. The CSA can help customers with anything from price quotes, research, to seven-day-a-
week phone and email support. DirectBuy describes the service “like having the store and support
all to yourself.”
Membership varies per franchise location, and starting memberships can last for two or three
