WAYS TO PREVENT LACK OF SLEEP DUE TO JET LAG
  1. Do not travel across time zones
  2. Take medication to be sedated the entire time
  3. Invent a drink that is opposite red bull – a calm down drink
  4. Sleep entire time on airplane
  5. Drink 8-12 glasses of water to hydrate
  6. Walk around the plane every hour
  7. Have a small pamphlet with relaxation exercises, meditation tricks or an
      introduction to self-hypnosis
  8. Set your watch to local time (of travel destination)
  9. Do not eat plane food
  10. Do not drink coffee on plane
  11. Do not drink alcohol on plane
  12. Only fly business class
  13. Do yoga on the plane
  14. Do not watch anything stimulating on plane
  15. Do not listen to any stimulating music
  16. Use a pillow
  17. Invent an arm-chair cover that makes it comfortable to take up more than
      one chair in the airport. Airports armchairs always make it impossible to
      sleep.
  18. Bring a foldable stool so you can sleep in the airport chairs with your feet up
  19. Invent a cover, so you convert the airport chair into a comfy armchair – e.g.
      chesterfield style
  20. Wear eye shade
  21. Use ear plugs
  22. Do not read anything print or computer
  23. Do not play computer games
  24. Inhale deeply and do not
  25. Do not attempt to speak non-native language
  26. Do not speak to your neighbors on the plane
  27. Arrive at airport and walk everywhere possible
  28. Take a shower and
  29. Put on clean clothes
  30. Spend time in a day spa
  31. Go outside and enjoy fresh air
  32. Soak us sunlamp or sunshine at new location
  33. Check into mini hotel and sleep
  34. Have small Japanese-style boxes where you can sqeeze in and sleep – you can
      rent it on a hourly basis. You can choose the lightning and if you want
      relaxing music in the “cabin”.

  36. Do not check email at new time zone as electronics are distracting
  37. Eat lots of salad at new time zone
  38. Eat lots of fruit at new time zone
39. Drink tea with honey
40. Wear wristbands that gives pressure to select acupuncture spots.
41. Do not drink caffeine at new time zone
42. Do not eat chocolate at new time zone
43. Listen only to relaxing music at new location
44. Smoke pot
45. Drink sleep pills
46. Drink alcohol until you are “wasted”
47. Drink soft drinks that will make you dizzy (something like anti-energy
    drinks)

50. have comfortable chairs that transform into beds at the airport

52. have ear plugs to avoid noise
53. Have work out zones in airports
54. Have a threadmill on flights

56. An app that where you’ll need total isolation plugs/eye shades. The plugs
    only allow noises when your flight is ready for boarding. Then a voice will tell
    you that you need to wake up nice and easy, wake-up music will be played for
    a few minutes, before the voice again tells you that you need to head for your
    plane. The voice will keep waking you – until you turn if off like a snoozer
57. use dark lights at a “sleep rooms”
58. use messageur chairs
59. avoid talking to people
60. Wear a tag “I have a long journey ahead of me. Please do not disturb”.
61. occupy several chairs to transform it into your bed
62. find a far-away place where there are not many people - a cozy, quite place
    for sleep
63. use your suitcase to stretch legs
64. mediate yourself into sleep
65. Do not sleep at least 2 days earlier to your flight, so that nothing (literally
    nothing) can interfere your sleep (as you will be very tired not to sleep)
66. Rent sleep beds at the airport + pillows + blankets
67. Do not go anywhere near Duty Free
68. Do your duty free shopping in a comfortable chair on a tablet while sales
    assistents get what you want to try or buy
69. Do not go anywhere near food aisle that can trick your nose
70. Invent an app where you enter your destination and ETA. It will tell you
    when to sleep and how many hours.
71. Count at least till 100 until you don't fall asleep
72. Ask people to read you a fairytale
73. Use relaxing scents
74. put a little salt into your head
75. at least try to close your eyes and pretend that you are sleeping
76. persuade yourself that you are sleeping and start dreaming
77. “shut” your brain
78. Do not look at watch and ask someone to wake you up 10 minutes before
    your flight
79. Read a book which will get you to sleep
80. sing a lullaby that your mother used to sing to you
81. have your mother record your favorite lullaby
82. have handluggage that can turn into a comfy pillow
83. use “chinese niddles” that will put you to sleep immediately
84. practice sleeping while sitting upright
85. Play a game – instead of counting sheeps – count planes, people in black
    dresses, people with turbans etc.
86. Invent a drink/pill that can cancel the effect of all the caffeine you ingested
    during the day.
