This proposal is for a film to promote pride in Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust and the city of Salford. The film will feature images of natural beauty and industrial areas around Salford, including MediaCityUK, Salford Quays, and Worsley Canal. It will also include footage of the public inside and outside Salford Royal hospital. The film aims to show patients, visitors, and the wider public why they should feel proud to be from or connected to Salford. It will play on a loop without sound in the hospital.
1. Proposal
The brief that i have chosen is in Salford and proud it is to create a high quality
film to promote that Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust is proud to be in
Salford and to encourage others to view Salford in a different light. The new
building is a civic landmark and wants to remind people why they should be
proud of Salford. My film is going to consist of images taken from around
Salford; they will be taken from certain places such media city, Salford quays
and Worsley canal showing parts of the industrial and natural beauty in
Salford. I will also be filming footage of the public outside and inside Salford
royal, both images and film footage will be put together there will also be
some text for the public to read. All this will create a film which will be played i
the hospital on a loop for 90-120 seconds, it will be played on a loop with no
sound. There are several target audiences for this film, firstly it is for the
people who may visit the hospital on a regular basis whether they work there
are visiting a patient or are a patient themselves, the film is to show and
remind them Salford is an amazing place and they should be proud of where
they come from and live. Secondly it’s for the public who may never visit and
it’s their first time this film shows them how beautiful Salford is and why. The
film targets all ages of the public. The film will be of the photos i have collected
of Salford put into 3 dimensional objects which will bounce around, this
creates an exciting effect which will keep the audience interested in the film.
