1. Proposal
The NHS assignment brief that I have decided to carry out is the IN Salford and
Proud assignment. For this particular brief I must create a 60-120 second long film
showing the public high quality imagery of the most beautiful places in Salford and
encourage people to be proud of living in Salford and see it in a different light. My
project will consist of many images taken in different places around Salford such as
Salford Quays, Media City, Worsley Canal and many more beautiful spots in Salford.
My target audience will be not only the local people who live in Salford reminding
them of why it is great but also people who visit Salford to give them a different
perspective from what they have already seen; the target age group for my film is of
all ages. My film will basically be a creative slide show of many different images and
will involve the text ‘in Salford and Proud’ showing it in a creative way on a black
background with a landscape image inside the text. They film will be shown in a
hospital TV on loop with no sound, for all the staff, patients and visitor to see. I think
my film will show all the viewers the true beauty of Salford.
