The document discusses pollution as a problem in the community and its causes. It notes that vehicle emissions and plastic waste are primary sources of pollution in the UAE. Plastic waste especially harms sea creatures and animals. The document calls for adopting sustainable practices in agriculture to reduce pollution, spreading awareness about the issue, and implementing laws against single-use plastics. It encourages residents to take action to positively impact the community.
3. Pollution???
Pollution is a world wide problem
that have affected people, animals
and the environment.
The average annual overall waste
of plastic for a person who lives in
the UAE is 912.5 kilogram per
capita (Pandey, 2023).
4. CausesofPollution
Vehicle emissions is one of the primary sources of
human-made air pollution in our world according to
(Air pollution and your health, n.d.).
The main causes of
the pollution
increasing in the UAE
are plastic waste and
vehicles emission.
Plastic waste is affecting the environment and it
kills the sea creatures and animals which will affect
our food chain according to (Air pollution and your
health, n.d.).

In Hamdan et al.(2018) from American University
of Sharjah research paper They found out about
545 deaths only in 2007 in the UAE to particulate
matter pollutants,
(Pandey, 2023) from eco MENA
organization Estimates suggest that 50
percent of the camels that die every
year in the UAE die from ingesting
plastics.
7. strategy
sustainable
A study by Adegbeye et al. (2020)
stated that amendment of livestock
slurry before application could help
reduce pollution and practices to
improve sustainability are essential
for Asian countries.
Adopting a sustainable approach to
agriculture will help with decreasing
pollution and helping the
environment

Spreadingawarness
Spreading awareness between our families, friends
and neighbors will help with the recognition of the
pollution problem that we face in our community.
In 1 year Abu Dhabi has managed to reduce its daily
use of single-use plastic bags by more than half a
million due to the law of banning single-use plastic
products, as shown in the latest statistics released
by the EAD (Zaman, 2023).
