Chromecast and Baidu Shadow Stick are streaming devices that allow users to cast video from mobile devices to televisions. The Shadow Stick uses a custom Android system while Chromecast runs on top of ChromeOS. User experience with the Shadow Stick is poor according to an assessment - it has weak WiFi signal strength, an ugly interface, bugs, and limited storage space despite 4GB of storage. The device runs hot but not as hot as other streaming devices.
