Google's Chromebook laptops running the Chrome OS operating system were initially unpopular products when launched over two years ago, but major partners like Hewlett-Packard and Lenovo recently releasing their own Chromebook models is giving the product line a "second spring" and showing Google's seriousness in competing in the laptop and cloud computing market.
