The written examination will consist the following
two sections:
Section I – objective types questions
Section II conventional (essay) type questions
papers.
Both Sections of the written examination of IES
2014 will cover the entire syllabus of the relevant
engineering subject.
The written examination for IES 2014 will be
conducted over a period of 3 days and it is
scheduled for 20th June, 2014.

5. Personal Interview Round
This is the second step in the IES 2014
Exam Pattern.
In this round candidates will be judged by
a panel on various parameters. Total
marks is 200.
After this round a final merit list will be
formed which comprises the name of all
the selected candidates in various areas
like civil engineering, electrical etc.
