2. If the week has been hectic & packed we love to
kick back on Friday night & relax but Fridays can
seem like a waste till work is over.
However, in business we need to stay one step
ahead of the game and if you utilise your Fridays
as preparation for the week to come you will have
a more relaxed weekend & an even better week
next week.
Here our tips for you to remember this Friday…

3. Give yourself something to look forward to
on Monday morning. Spend Friday morning
e-mailing contacts and arrange dates for the
week to come.
You might not always get a reply that day
but if not you’ll come back Monday to some
positive e-mails.
Set up some exciting meeting/contacts

4. Fridays to look at your piled up paper tray or
e-mails & think, “Forget it! I’ll just pick it back
up Monday.” However when Monday morning
comes you’ll just be in a mess of paper &
catching up with e-mails so, on Friday take
some time out to clear up all the things you
have pushed aside in the week.
Not only will it make next week productive but
it will also give you a great sense of
achievement at the end of the week.

5. It’s so easy to forget tasks & information
after the weekend so make sure that on
Friday you write a list of the information &
things that you need to do in the next week.
On Monday morning you will be so thankful
that you have that list to refer to.

6. What were the highlights, what could you have
done better, what were your distractions.
Reflecting on your week will mean that you
address any issues so that you can then relax
for the weekend but it will also mean that you
are more productive for the next week.

7. Friday Favourites
Give yourself a treat on a Friday. This will give
you something to look forward to. It might be
a nice cup of shop brought coffee while you
tidy your e-mails or bring in some cake for
everyone to share. Keep it fun and keep it as
a treat for Fridays.
