Part one of the application package for MC AIESEC Romania 13-14

1. Hello there!
Welcome to this little piece of paper or pixels. The first one of this application package. What you will
find here is a bird’s eye view of the entire application and why not, some of the defining bullet points of
this strategy.
Until this point I kept thinking what I am going to write when I get to writing the Executive Summary. I
wanted to use an organized structure, something orderly and a little bit formal. But I have decided that I
AIESEC
will just write what I feel. What I feel about AIESEC Romania, about the future and how I see what
needs to happen.
I feel that right know, as a country, we are slowly coming together. I notice the idea and also the need
of the LCs to feel that they are not working alone, that there are other people who are passionate,
driven, sometimes frustrated, but always ready to take a challenge head-on and give their best. If we
head-
keep encouraging collaboration, sharing and openness we will be able to reach the point where we say:
that
“Yeah, things aren’t really going that good, but I have people next to me supporting me and fighting for
the same thing.” And once you know you are not alone, that you belong somewhere, you start to give
more and do more for yourself and for those around you.
I feel that we shouldn’t hold back when we want other people to join in. We shouldn’t limit ourselves in
back
thinking up new ideas, innovative solutions or ambitious strategies for making ourselves more well
known, and in turn managing to help and aid an entire community. If we keep chopping off the braches
chopping
that we are trying to climb on to reach the top of the tree because we are over-thinking or because we
over-
are scared, it will not help us grow. We have to try to reach more people, more companies, more
offer.
NGOs through the benefits that we offer.
I feel that we need to remember what we started with and we need to be clear on what we want to do
and what our role is in the grand scheme of things. We need to be providers internally and externally of
life-
awesome, life-changing experiences. For that we have to channel our passion and drive into something
concrete.
I feel that by focusing on Education, creating a Collaborative Environment and highlighting
Relevance (both internal and external) we can achieve our vision.
Finally, I KNOW that AIESEC Romania is ready to reach the next level, is ready to grow as a
Romania
national network and is ready to be proud of its achievements.
