1. ANGUISSOLA HIGH SCHOOL

2. HISTORYHISTORY
The institute Sofonisba Anguissola was born as
“Regia Scuola Complementare”, after which it was
acquired in 1883 by Cremona Community. This
school was a type of school geared towards the
formation of educators and indicated as the model of
all the others. Our school takes its name after
Sofonisba Anguissola, a cremonese painter born in
Cremona around 1535. Our school is housed in a
16th
-century palace, remarkably transformed over the
years, as various bodies have been added to
accomodate the school.

3. You are welcomed in our school: Sofonisba Anguissola.
It is situated in Palestro street in Cremona, in the city
centre. It is a Human Science school with different
options: biomedical and comunication. We attend the
latter.
We study mainly human science, law and
comunication.

4. Anguissola was originally a mansion.
At the entrace you can find a big kiosk with trees where
you can have a snack during the break or you can buy
fresh drinks at the vending machine.

5. GYMS
There are two gyms:
one is big and the other
one is small.
In the big gym you can
play volleyball and
basketball.
Instead, in the small
gym you can do speed
racing.
