1. CROW Servers
=CROW= Communication to members, admins, BF3/4 players
Dear CROW members, Dear BF players,
We are obliged given the situation to share some important information. (We will summarize the situation, if
necessary, if you have any questions you can contact us by mail or chat for more explanations.)
One of our most popular and best known server CROW=[3] is attacked since about 5 months, it crash 1-6 times a
day. With the help of provider, we have noticed that this server was constantly attacked by DDoS, making it
unstable and is crashing.
The provider does not have the necessary infrastructure to protect our servers, so we decided to change provider
that has a better protection for our servers.
Since 1 month, the server =CROW=[3] running on the new provider infrastructure. After some days, the server
crash has begun anew.
According the diagnosis of the provider, test, logs check, this time it is not DDoS attack is but another type of
attack, bug/exploit. In brief, we believe that with the old provider we were attacked by DDoS and bug / exploit, and
the new provider by bug / exploit.
During these 5 last months, we noticed some disturbing behavior, including some contact by chat. We have been
proposals to amalgamate knife server with another team, which seems very interested by us and our activities. In
the same time, this team opened their knife only server, in the same range crashes have started. Also, they
seemed to be better informed than us of our server crash, how and when.
Currently, our server crash 1 to 2 times a day, it happens to be two days of uptime, which is rare. We have a
second Knife servers =CROW=[9] to always satisfy our members and frequent players.
Our community was born two years ago, the first knife server on the same date. During this time, we have never
been ATTACKED. It happened that the server crash follows a Blaze or a hardware/network problem, which is
normal.
The people we suspect are about 5 persons of the same team. Needless to say who they are, you will notice by
easily by their behavior; Copy / Paste of our information (Platoon, server ID and description) it seems that it is a
mirror of the =CROW= community. They simply took / steal our concept, we worked hard for two years to get the
result of today.
But also, they also come begging for money on our servers and our admins to pay for their server. And, we were
also advised by one of our admin that their leader was active on a website hack / cheat. He seemed interested to
know more hack game server.
But why would they do that? Simply because they are jealous, not fair, and do not have the maturity and
intelligence to create their own concept. The only way they attack and copy/past the server to make it unusable
the most popular server knife since 2 years, which was still active 24/7, it so that often players get tired on our
server and go play on their server, is basic strategy of the amateur.
We have in our possession, evidence, witnesses, print screen, can prove the bad behavior of some of them and
will undertake approaches so that they are punished. Certainly, this process will be long and arduous, but we do
for our loyal member, players, and of course for our community.
It's just a game nothing more, but we encourage you to avoid these people, to stay away, that they are harmful.
Please accept our apologies, we noticed some players are frustrated by frequent crashes, but now you know why.

The older server, is actually used for defib only till 04.01.14, after this date will be definitively stopped. Because
the contract of this server was 6 months, and we don’t renew with this provider.
