2. Three key takeways
1. To know the problem is one of the most important aspects of
problem-solving situations.
2. Reflection is a key factor to any problem-solving situation,
especially at work. And the design thinking process is a way to
organize that reflection.
3. There are many solutions to a problem. The design thinking
process helps to find the best solutions.
3. Graphic map/representation of the design thinking
process as you experienced it
This was how I summarized the problem-solving process in the first exercise of the
course. To me it seems pretty close to what we saw along the classes. There’s only
some difference between the words. Therefore I choose to keep it the same way.

5. Ideate and prototype ways to apply design thinking
to your context
Start small
I already use design thinking in several situations at work, especially
to define problems. Unfortunatelly, it’s very normal not to think clearly
during the daily basis work. Everybody is always running, the time is
short, the problems are many. Through design thinking I already:
1.structuredaprocessfortheartdepartmentatmycompanytoreceive
thesolicitationsanddevelopgraphiclayouts;
2.developedsocialmediacampaigns;
3.structuredaworkprocessforcommunicationinterns;
4.structuredthestrategicplanningof2013forthesocialmediaprofiles

6. Ideate and prototype ways to apply design thinking
to your context
Build on the first ideas
To me it’s very clear that design thinking can help my area in the company
that I work. We still don’t have structured processes that allow the work
to flow more naturaly. Because of that we not only have to deal with
normal work problems - by that I mean the problems we are hired to
solv - but we have to deal with disorganization and the problem created
from it. In that way I could use design thinking to:
1.establishprocessesfortheCommunicationCoordination;
2.developlongtermstrategiesfortheCoordination;
3.structurecampaignstobuildastrongcultureofaction.
