2. Late in the twentieth century, The United States of America and other
world superpowers came into an agreement to end the huge cashes of
nuclear weapons that each country sustained in case of global war. After
the superpowers of the world agreed on diminishing their nuclear
arsenal to basically nothing, there were still a few smaller, less powerful
countries that simply refused to eliminate their nuclear weapons. The
United Nations placed an embargo on these countries to force them into
the Cold War so no nation would any longer have the necessary
weaponry to singlehandedly destroy the world.
3. Terrorists were always interested in obtaining the few and far between
nuclear weapons or any other means to create world-wide massacre. In
the early twenty-first century, the United States and its allies vowed to
break up these terrorist organizations and end the global threat of
terrorism completely. This action was appropriately named The War on
Terrorism. This took many years to accomplish the task of fishing for the
leaders of these terrorist groups and bringing them to
justice, consequently destroying any framework of the organization in
which that leader was involved.
4. As these organizations were brought down one by one, the United
States and its allies began to feel a sense of security, not felt for more
than four decades. Naturally, the funding for fighting these
organizations was something that most taxpayers and government
officials believed to be overpriced and no longer necessary so taxes
were lowered and anti-terrorism funding was greatly reduced. This
reduction meant a major decrease in military
personnel, equipment, and endeavors into smaller countries where
harboring terrorist groups and activities was a common practice. These
terrorist groups brought well needed money into these countries in
exchange for a safe haven for the groups to carefully plan out their
future attacks. Along with the reduction in spending for these
programs, an overall tax reduction greatly applauded the new
president with only a few members in the cabinet against the reduction
in spending for anti-terrorism.
5. A few members of the president’s cabinet attempted over and over to
persuade the president to not fall away from the current programs.
Their theory was that if the United States backs down, it would only
open doors and breed new and more hostile groups of terrorism
activities and procedures.
The United States has always been on the top both financially and
militarily. With the onslaught of terrorism in the late twentieth century
gone and done away with, there was no need to frivolously spend
anymore funding on something that is of the past. With nuclear
weapons under control, it would take an unheard of, extremely high-
tech weapon of mass destruction to bring a nation like the United States
to its knees.
6. One method to take The United States into complete disaster was to
initiate a single infection that would bring down the entire infrastructure
of the nation therefore eliminating basic necessities such as food; water;
transportation; communication; security, and of course, the financial
system.
