Recommendations
I would recommend this application as this application seems to have the
necessary features needed to be useful in a classroom. I have used this
application in my classroom and was able to use it easily and import files and
worksheets into and from Dropbox easily. I love that you can lock the imported
file so that it does not change size or rotate as you annotate over it. I was able
to easily set up viewing for the whole class on the iPad with my projector via
the document camera. I especially liked that I could pull up graph paper in the
back ground directly from the application. This was a huge time saver during
class. I was also quickly and easily able to create short tutoring and video
lessons utilizing this application, which helped my students prepare for class
and clarify misunderstandings for homework completion. I found this
application easy to learn and use and would highly recommend this application
if the cost of obtaining Explain Everything was not feasible.

Recommendations
The ShowMe app is very similar to the Educreations Interactive
Whiteboard app. The main difference between the two is that
ShowMe does not have the capability to import from Dropbox. I
have found that Dropbox is the easiest and most versatile
application to use to import and export files. Otherwise, the app
is very easy to learn and use. ShowMe contains all the same
features as the Educreations Interactive Whiteboard app
otherwise. The ShowMe app is also a free app available from
iTunes. I would recommend the Educreations Interactive
Whiteboard app over the ShowMe app due to the fact that the
user is not able to import files from Dropbox.

Recommendations
I would highly recommend this application for use in the
classroom. This application has many features that make it very
easy to use in the classroom. The website for this application has
the most features and lessons to “borrow” from others. This
application has the most features available for a free application;
including video and audio embedding. This application is easy for
teachers and students to learn to use and to share presentations
with each other. Another added bonus is this application is free. I
would strongly recommend the ScreenChomp app for use in the
classroom. If cost is an issue, I would highly recommend the
ScreenChomp application due to it’s versatility, features, and ease
of use.

Recommendations
Even though this app costs $2.99 on iTunes, I would highly
recommend this app. This app provides the most features and
compatibility of all the four apps studied. This app works the most
like an actual “in classroom” interactive whiteboard. This opens
up video capability, more file compatibility for importing and
exporting files, and more annotation options for lessons. Whether
you are projecting this app through a projector using a document
camera or using it with students individually, Explain Everything
will provide you with every set of tools you will need to help your
students understand.
