8. Life Changing
Moment
• In the summer of 2010, I committed my life to Christ
• The following summer, I made it public by getting baptized
When I committed my life to Christ, I became a new person. Since making that
commitment, my attitude is different, my ambitions are different, and my perspective on
life has changed drastically. Now, I can truly say that my faith is the most important
thing in my life and is what drives me and motivates me every single day.
The biggest misconception made about strong Christian believers is that they tend to be
judgmental. However, it is the exact opposite. One of the most basic fundamental
principles of the religion is accepting other imperfect people just as Jesus has accepted
me for all my imperfections. Having this attitude has made my relationships better with
my family and friends and I have even been blessed with the opportunity to help others
come to Christ for the first time.
I believe that my strong faith really sets me apart from most people. Some may find it
negative others may view at as a positive characteristic. Either way, whoever decides to
hire me should know that they are getting a man of high character and integrity who
values his faith and family first and foremost.
