2. INTRODUCATION
In the epic Mahabharata, Drona or
Dronacharya or guru Drona was the royal
preceptor to the Kauravas and Pandavas
and incarnation of Brahma; an avatar of
Brihaspati. He was the son of Rishi .
3. DRONACHARYA
The royal Gura to Pandavas and
Kauravas and a ferocious warrior of
tremendous combating skills, Guru
Dronachcrya is a significant character of
Mahabharata.
Dronacharya supported the Kauravas
and remained firm like an inexorable hero in
the battle of Kurukshetra ,where casualties
went beyond the human imagination and
corpeses got piled up, becoming the food for
the birds.
4. SWORD OF DRONA
Drona held the invincible sword of lord
Brahma. Bhishma once told the story of this
sword to pandava prince Nakula. This sword
was the primordial weapon created by the
gods for the destruction of evil. The name of
the sword was Asi, personification and the
primary energy behind all the weapons ever
created.
