Egyptians were interested in their houses , families and their work as well. They used to live in
houses of mud brick . Even the rich people lived in those houses ,too. They didn’t use to build houses with
stone because it was difficult to cut , shape and transport .
People of Egypt used to wear very few clothes .Men used to wear only a skirt which was short and
narrow . Women used to dress long robes with bans over the shoulders. Children didn’t use to wear
anything at all. Both men and women used to shave their heads with a razor .
Ancient Egyptians used to store their food in pottery jars . They didn’t use to prepare food with metal
utensils and they didn’t even use to have a dining table. Their main foods were bread , beef , mutton and
goose .They used to drink beer , wine and milk .
