Malout Institute of Management and Information Technology is brought up under the
able guidance of Board of Governors, headed by Hon’able Technical Education Minister,
Govt. of Punjab. Located in the Green Field Enclave, Malout (Punjab), the self contained
campus is a beautiful academic and administrative three storied building spread over 25
acres of land which has been magnificently and aesthetically designed by the Chief
Architecture of Punjab. MIMIT is the only Govt. Institute to offer both MBA & B.Tech
programs in Punjab. At present, it is offering four undergraduate courses, i.e. B.Tech.-IT,
CSE, ECE & ME and one postgraduate course, i.e. MBA.

Malout Institute of Management and Information Technology, Malout, established in 1998,
is a premier Institute to educate and impart knowledge in professional fields like
Engineering, Management and Information Technology. The Institute has been striving
persistently in the field of technical education by understanding the need for upliftment of
youth in highly competitive, technologically elevated society and understanding the thirst
for knowledge of students and satisfying it. Since the inception of the Institute, we have
tried to combine the academic excellence with the inner enfoldment of students’
personality. MIMIT has excellent infrastructure in terms of aesthetically designed
buildings, Digital AC Library, State of the art AC laboratories, Wi-Fi, Internet, Transport,
Sports facilities and separate Hostels for boys and girls. MIMIT aims to promote the
advancement of knowledge in the field of technology and management through effective
research, teaching and education extension activities. The institute prepares the students
to face the challenges of this competitive world by using innovative methods of teaching.
The Institute provides practical oriented education along with developing qualities of
creativity and leadership in the students.full responsibility towards it.
