2. Christy: “EEEEEEKKK! Joey, look at our new home- isn’t it so cute?”
Joe: “…”
That’s right fighter, you still can’t say a word. Welcome back to the Skull Valley Build a City Challenge. This is week 2 and here is
the only other family in town, the Strattons.
3. Like any other family that can barely afford to start out, I set Joe to work digging and Christy to… laze about. Joe manages to dig
up the first treasure chest of the challenge meaning he can finally talk.
Joe: “Why are you blaming me for something another incarnation of me did?”
Well you did get into a fight with Jihoon in week 1, so it’s not like you’ve changed much.
Joe: “Yeah, but I won that fight. Points for that, right?”
4. Christy: “Joey, you really are the bestest husband. Letting me just raise our kids while you do all the hard work.”
Joe: “I never said you wouldn’t be working.”
Christy: “I liked you better when you weren’t allowed to talk.”
Me too.
5. Joe wants to be a Hall of Famer, a career that we can’t have yet because there’s no lot to represent a Sports Park. So in the mean
time he’ll do the complete opposite- paint portraits he can sell for cash.
7. And there you have it. 3rd fire has now started meaning one position in Law Enforcement has been unlocked and we can finally
have some smoke detectors.
Christy: “Joey, why won’t you put it out?”
Joe: “Your fire, your problem.”
8. Joe: “Really. The Law Enforcement job isn’t in here. The Slacker job isn’t in here either.”
Guess you’ll have to keep painting.
9. And here is the next baby to make an appearance in Skull Valley: Ryan Stratton. Right now, he looks like the spitting image of his
mother.
10.
11. Since one of Christy’s friends is Komei Tellerman, I decide to move him in. It can’t hurt to have more households, right?
12. As a Fortune sim, Komei wants to have 6 pets reach the top of their careers. As this is blocked by Build a City Rules, Komei will just
own a business of his own.
13. Christy: “Why is that strange man holding my child?”
Sweetie, I gave Komei a makeover.
Christy: “Why didn’t Joey and I get makeovers. Are we not important enough to you?”
14. Komei: “Come on, Joe. I need your help running this thing.”
Joe: “I swear to plumbbob, you people have me doing everything around here. I used to be a beloved townie, remember? People
would use me in legacies all the time.”
Komei: “Sure you were.”
15. Welcome to Komei’s Diner. This will be the restaurant that unlocks a position in the Culinary career.
16. Since I can’t leave Ryan home alone, Christy had to stay behind to watch him. That meant hiring a few sims to help out (for
minimum wage of course.”
Komei: “You know, you could have saved the club for me. I would have liked the money.”
Buddy, I’ll set you up with a clothing store later. That’ll earn you a few dollars.
17. Look who decided to make an appearance.
Charlotte: “I didn’t want to start another fire.”
Don’t worry, Christy caused the last one we needed. Now you guys have access to the alarms.
Charlotte: “Oh thank plumbbob! I’ve been living off of chef salad for days now.”
18. As the business went up the ranks, it was able to expand an earn itself a Best in Business reward.
Although I had to keep kicking out sims who were playing kicky ball. That doesn’t earn stars, people!
19. By the time the week had been played through here, Komei’s Diner was rank 6. One position in Culinary has been unlocked.
21. Komei: “Hey, can you guys watch your kid? I’m only here until the week is over. I don’t want him calling me ‘dada.’”
22. Here is toddler Ryan. Only one nice point, which means he’s going to take after his father.
23. Christy: “RyRy, can you say bottle?”
Ryan: “Bottle.”
Christy: “YES! I did it! I’m the best mom in town. Suck it, Charlotte…. I mean… it’s a shame my bestest friend had so much trouble
with her first born son.”
You scare me.
24. Since Komei needs someone to marry off, I figured why not the sim he has the best relationship with. Ivy Copur!
25. Teen Ivy: “Did someone say my name?”
Technically, but I meant adult Ivy.
Teen Ivy: “I might be an adult someone if you age me up.”
Not now, teen Ivy.
26. Finally, we have a baby girl in the neighbourhood! Everyone meet Charity Stratton.
Christy: “Komei, did you here? I had a girl?”
28. Ivy moves in with one day to spare in the week. She’s a knowledge sim who wants to be a Cult Leader. Jeez- you’re making this
hard, aren’t you.
Ivy: “Yup.”
29. And the Tellermans become the official third family of Skull Valley. They will start their home at the end of week 2/beginning of
week 3.
30. Unfortunately, they had zero bolts (Komei had two for Christy) so a quick makeover for Ivy did the trick to at least give them the
illusion of chemistry.
And a lullaby meant they would have at least one kid between them.
31. Time for Sunday birthdays! Ryan and Charity both grow up. Charity turns out not to be a clone of her brother (she’s nicer, at the
very least).
32.
33. So that’s the end of week 2. Here are the stats:

SM: 2
Total Population: 22
