Weight ratios play an important part in Airfreight planning.
The chargeable weight is the greater of the actual weight versus the volumetric weight (1 m3 = 167kgs).
Airfreight containers come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes and are tailored to the aircraft
they are travelling on.
Large pieces of airfreight are accepted by airlines on a case by case basis – Redfort can help
negotiate with the airline on your behalf.

service destinations and will talk you through the whole process. You can relax in the knowledge that
your freight will be shipped in the timeliest, most cost effective and efficient way possible.
