Courses smart reading / smart writing for business
Save time by high-speed reading reports with better understanding and typing your
own reports using all fingers without watching them.
Reading and writing reports,
emails or any other type of in-
formation are two of the most
time-consuming things for
professionals. Our brain can
do much better. In order to use
all of our brain’s capacities, we
just have to change the way of
reading and writing.
discount for members
NL Chamber received an intro-

organize both courses in Mace

interest, these courses (2 days
plus 1 day follow-up for read-

Female entrepreneurs visit the Netherlands
The Netherlands Enterprise
Agency funded a training pro-
ject for a group of twenty fe-
male entrepreneurs from Al-
bania, Kosovo and Macedonia.
The project focussed on inter-
nationalization of their compa-
nies through various skills like
business planning, product de-
velopment and marketing. The
project also included a busi-
ness visit to the Netherlands
with plenary sessions, events
and individual match-making.
NEC and NL Chamber
The Dutch contractor in charge
of the business visit, NEC, in-
vited NL Chamber to join the
organizing team during the
visit. One of the days was

the company Le Arch 3D Nsh

One of the new NL Chamber
members, garment production
agent EMT from Stip, is about
to start production of bags of
recycled textile. The idea came
from contacts with the Dutch
company i-did, an organization
in textile industry (“passieve
veredeling” in Dutch or “лон”
in Macedonian), EMT faces the
extensive procedures concer
ning the customs treatment
of cutting waste from tempo-
rarily imported fabrics. Having
also in mind that the cutting
waste ends up at Macedonian
landfills, EMT aims to reuse the
cutting waste of its own ope
ration and other companies in
the future.
Customs Authority
Since the producer of table-
cloths for party tables Nido
Global Textile in Skopje (sub-
sidiary of Dutch Dena Textile
Productions) is also thinking
of ways to reuse their cutting
waste, NL Chamber addressed
the subject at a meeting of the
Advisory Body of the Customs
Authority.
According to director Natasa
Radeska-Krstevska the proce-
dure for using textile waste of
temporarily imported fabrics

for the Ministry of Defense,
blue-yellow-purple shoulder
bags for electricity provider

production in Macedonia
With felt being an ideal materi-
al to be produced out of textile
waste, i-did saw an opportu-
nity for larger scale production
of bags and other items made
from felt of general textile
waste. EMT has offered to or-
ganize production in Macedo
nia. See: grensverleggers.nl.
cutting waste

is very straightforward. How-
ever, inquiry at the company
mentioned as an example
learnt that there is still no un-
derstanding with the Customs
Authority for using waste of
temporarily imported fabrics.
Dutch textile waste
processor
The Dutch processor of textile
waste - mainly garments - is
Frankenhuis BV in Haaksber-
gen, with which i-did co-oper-
ates. Managed by professionals
with a background in waste
management, the company
is a purely industrial business

in garment destruction and
as a supplier of raw materi-
als. Fashion brands bring their

their used workwear or any
other type of textile waste.
hard shell suitcases
Jeans and knitted wear can be
a component for new fabrics,
because of the long fibres that
are retrieved. Other garments
mostly end up in felt. With an
innovative spirit, Frankenhuis
continuously experiments with
new applications. The automo-
tive industry is already pur-
chasing fibres which they form

420 tonnes
The entire construction of 420
tonnes was produced by Steel
Con in Mlado Nagoricane and
delivered by sister company
Gerliko Staalconstructies in
Nijkerk. Both companies are
part of Dutch Gerliko Group.
The complex is convenient-
ly located next to the exit of
highway A30 and close to the
intersection with highway A1.
Skenderbeg Square
With a Dutch production ma
nager permanently based in
Macedonia, the production ef-
ficiency seriously improved,
making Steel Con very com-
petitive for mass production on
the Dutch market. Steel Con
also executes large projects in
Serbia as well as some smaller
projects in Macedonia, like the
reinforcement armatures for
Skenderbeg Square in Skopje.
100% Dutch since 2014
Steel Con was established in
2005 and became a 100% sub-
sidiary of Dutch Gerliko Group
in 2014, after a few years of
joint-venture partnership. The
company operates two shifts,
seven days per week with 90
employees.

The House of Thousand De-

by HOIOOOD, is a design stu-

missing link between product

product distributors,” says
Zoran Radonjanin, who develo

disruptive innovation
Whereas western countries are
buzzing from terms like “in-
novation” and more recently
“disruptive startup”, Feydom
has “disruptive innovation” in
its veins. The common cha
racteristic of all products is
multifunctionality, combined
with a modern, solid design,
fashionable colours and fabrics
that ensure easy maintenance.
Filimena: “Feydom is best sold
by demonstrating the interac-
tion with the products. There-
fore in Europe we have new
shops in partnerships with
passionate, proactive people.”
Similar to the company’s phi-
losophy for all employees,
“join, develop, benefit” with
full access to all resources,
Feydom now extends the of-
fer to external designers from
anywhere. Zoran: “We aim for
a thousand designers for a
short stay within our company
in a period of five years. We
expect at least 25 successfull
products out of 250 projects
per year.”
Feydom is also developing an
inspiring campus for budget
accommodation for both ex-
ternal designers and mentors.

The SFC has over a hundred
