The poem expresses what the author has in their life that is important to them, including a phone that is central to their life, an iPod to zone out with, love for their family and friends, respect for family and friends and coaches, strength to pursue dreams, goals to better themselves, a new day and another year as a senior to graduate and complete goals while missing friends of 2010.
