9. Question Creation Guidelines
● Normal Tests at a Subconcept level: The questions here will be fairly simple and most of them will
primarily require the knowledge of that subconcept to solve the given questions.
● Normal Tests at a concept level should primarily require the knowledge of multiple subconcepts
present in that concept to solve the questions.
● Hots Tests at a concept level should primarily require the knowledge and application skills of
multiple subconcepts present in that concept to solve the questions. The idea of these HOTS is to
identify good students who can help their peers/juniors understand the subject.
● Normal Tests at a Unit level should primarily require the knowledge of multiple concepts present
in that Unit to solve the questions.
● Hots Tests at a Unit level should primarily require the knowledge and application skills of multiple
concepts present in that unit to solve the questions. The idea of these HOTS is to identify good
students who can help their peers/juniors understand the subject.
● Full Tests: Based on the UGC Guidelines
● Distractors can be present in the MCQ questions based on teachers experiences on what kind of
mistakes students can make.
