Uddhab Bharali is an Indian inventor from Assam known for inventing over 140 mechanical devices. He was born in 1962 in North Lakhimpur, Assam and had to drop out of engineering college due to financial difficulties. This led him to start a business to support his family. Some of his most famous inventions include a pomegranate deseeding machine, devices to help disabled people, and agricultural equipment. He has received many national awards for his innovations and social work helping underprivileged communities.

• It separates the outer cover and thin inner membrane
without damaging the seeds.
• It has a capacity of deseeding 50-55 kg of pomegranate
fruits per hour.
• The machine has been exported to Turkey and USA.

(produces up to 100kg of tea per day with a power intake of only
2 KW)
• Encapsulated Seedling Growing Process:
Process is an alternative way of rice cultivation system.

It was observed to be 1.5 times faster than manual planting

• Opened the UKD Trust through which he gives a monthly pension of
Rs 1,200/month to widows and Rs 2,500/month to physically
challenged individuals in his hometown.

50 underprivileged students for a three-month training program
where he exclusively teaches them how to use technology.
• Supporting 18 helpless families financially.
