(LIET) established by Marut Nandan Educational Society
(MNES) in year 2001 and is affiliated to the Rajasthan
Technical University, Kota and approved by the Govt. of
Rajasthan & AICTE, Ministry of HRD, New Delhi.
We are having excellent infrastructure, spread over 35
acres of lush green land and is ideally located on Delhi-
Tijara-Alwar Highway; only 123 KM away from Delhi IGI
Airport.

5. • Library is a member of DELNET, a network of 550 libraries
of India housing about 30 lakh books, thereby bringing their
resources within the realm of our library.
• The library is well-equipped with a rich collection of journals,
books, back volumes, project reports, CDs, video cassettes,
etc. (at present 55,120 Books)
• The library is fully computerized (using ALICE for Windows
Software) by which a student can access the required books.
• The library provides Internet services to the users so that they
can go global and seek the required information over the
desktop.

12. The Solar Car
The innovative idea of our
engineering students turned
into a unique solar car called
SOLZBURG based on the
concept of ‘Battery Powered
Vehicle’ using Photo-Voltaic
Cells. .
The Solar Radiation is converted into Electrical Energy, which in turn is converted into
Mechanical Energy that is utilized to drive the Solar Powered Vehicle. It is dually powered that is
it can be run by Solar Energy as well as by electric battery chargers.

13. The Racing Car
Torque India Racing Club
(TIRC) of LIET made a car
prototype called TI-07 is
completely out of scrap and
second hand material. It is
powered by a Royal Enfield 350
cc
Engine, and its unique feature is absence of a
differential in final drive and equipped with
wheels and brakes from Maruti-800, and shockers
from Honda CD-100, all obtained second hand
from various junk yards. TI-10 is the next car by
the club to be presented in FSAE, Japan.

14. The Solar Bike
The Solar Racing Bike
propelled by Electric Energy.
The bike is a Single Rider
vehicle, designed solely for the
racing purpose achieving a
speed of 60 kilo-meters per
hour. It has dual driving
mechanism which assures the
rider to reach his destination
even on No-Power condition.
The engine of the bike is a D.C. motor getting its fuel from a set of two
batteries, which gives bike the range of 50 kms. The solar panels are mounted
on the roof which charges the battery constantly.

COLLIGATE CLUB.
This is our college's colligate
club of SAE INDIA.

The F-1 RACING CAR participated in FSAE Japan; Manufactured by a team
of students of ECE, CSE, EE & ME branches.
Won the 1st Prize in I.C. ENGINE CAR RACE-2012 (FULL THROTTLE)
IIT-Jodhpur.
24th Rank in India in ATV (ALL TERRIAN VEHICLE), BAJASAE-2009.
Won the 3rd Place in BITS, Pilani in the event named “DUAL MODE
