I currently rate my ability in the creative use of the following
technical skills as:

Coursework:
1. Try to use interesting effects as I did in the Thriller opening.
2.Pay attention to the song lyrics i.e. make the music video relate to
the actual song not just the genre or the artists image. Convey the
meaning of the lyrics in the video, not necessarily literally though.

2. Spend time looking at genres opposite to my chosen genre so I
know what to stay away from.
3. Do research on the artist so that I can create a music video that
is original but can also relate to the artist’s body of work and be
seen as something they might approve of.

1.Plan so that the idea is clear so I do not get stuck halfway through

2.Focus on all aspects i.e. clothing, misc-en-sine, setting/locations,
and lip syncing/performance.
3.Put as much effort and spend as much time into the print ad and
digipak as I do into the music video.
