Natural resources are materials from the natural environment that are valuable to humans. These include things like water, land, forests, and minerals. Failing to protect natural resources would negatively impact humanity by limiting resources for survival like food, water, shelter and reducing quality of life. Students are tasked with learning about natural resources by reading an article, taking notes, and answering questions to demonstrate their understanding.
