XCLAIM, a revenue cycle management software used by hospitals to keep track their billing cycle, using Agile and
SCRUM methodology. This software is client-server application, based on .NET technology with n-Tier
Architecture.
Responsibilities:
Involved in new releasesof the software by planning iterationsand completingassigneduser stories.
Involved in all phases of SDLC including requirements gathering, design, development, unit testing, deployment,
post production support and documentation.
Experienced in components on client side: updating the main menu to add new items, creating new web forms for
these new items with Developer Express software, modifying Claim Editor (an Active X component written in
C++ used to validate claim against payer rules on the client side) with new features.
Experienced handling user events on the server side: updating data access layer with new methods relatingto views,
tables, store procedures, ADO.NET, mapping XML data into business object.
Integrated other products to XCLAIM by calling XML web services to retrieve the data and used XSLT to
transform it to match business objects.
Created auto code generation tool to create C# classes to wrap claim XML data instead of using XML paths.
Updated auto import service (a window service to pick up data files that clients drop in SFTP server to import
them into XCLAIM system) to handle new format data files.
Created reporting services that our client can subscribe and set up schedules to run.

using Oracle database. Responsibilities included design, implement and maintain GUI on alarm, line equipment,
download, backup, restore and inventory.
Designed and implemented EMS online help using Apache, Servlets, JSP and HTML. This application can run as
standalone or plug in to EMS client to provide instant access to EMS’s User Guide.
Supported call processing software for DMX switch. The software was written in C++ in object oriented
programming with UNIX Solaris as operating system. Responsibilities included performing sanity testing for daily
load, setting up switch to re-produce the problem, adding logs in trace files to debug and fix the problem, working
on new feature with experienced team members (including creating high level design, code changes and unit
testing), creating test case and automated them.
