I am going genting with my boyfriend and wanted somewhere nice. Not on a budget. I have
only stayed at Genting hotel before. Anyone have better recommendations? Awana? Resort
Hotel?
Cuti-cuti Malaysia answers:
I have being to genting lots of times and stayed at all the hotels before i think.for me.the worst
hotel is First World Hotel.cause the room is really darn small, though its new.the room i stay
wasnt that clean.but the good thing is u can go to the indoor theme park faster.my choice for
you will be resort or genting hotel.for a cheaper one will be resort.the resort service is good and
there is a convience shop below accompanied by starbucks or coffee bean.

how many days one should stay in genting highlands, thigs to do
in genting? good budget hotel in there.?
Cuti-cuti Malaysia answers:
For me, it would be 3 days and 2 nights. It has a theme park, so enjoy the rides. There is a
casino, so try your luck. Most people would choose First World Hotel…
Steven asks…
what is the cheapest way to genting from singapore?

3. book by singapore agency package? or do self booking by hotel and coach ticket? by the way is
the coach ticket cheaper in JB?
Cuti-cuti Malaysia answers:
It mainly depends on where you wish to start and end. The cheapest way may not be the most
convenient.
1. If you are intending to have the cheapest, then I suggest you take the SBSTransit bus or any
SIN-JB bus from Kranji MRT, then buy the two-way bus tickets at JB. There are many stalls in
City Square in JB selling tickets.
2. If you have access to NEL (MRT) and dun mind starting from Harbourfront (and ending
there), there is this malaysian bus company called Aeroline. They even serve lunch/ meals.
There is even a “steward” serving you. And it is not too expensive.
3. If you wish to leave from Bukit Timah Plaza, then you can check out WTS Travel. There is a
WTS Travel shop. The bus leaves from Bukit Timah Plaza and it is very convenient for residents
from Bkt Batok, Bkt Timah, Hillview, and nearby areas. Both ways (to and fro) should be around
80 sing.. But the price fluctuates. So it is better to check.
I have tried all three before, and to me convenience reduces the need to worry about getting
tickets from JB. But if you are budget-conscious, try the ones from JB. One thing for sure, never
take the train.
Hope this helps.

4. From corus hotel in KL where can we ride the bus going to genting
highland?
How much is the bus fare
Cuti-cuti Malaysia answers:
Hi There,
An Early Welcome to Malaysia!
The easiest and nearest way is to take a taxi from Corus hotel to Pasar Rakyat Bus Terminal
which is only a stone throw away. The taxi fare should not cost more than RM5. When you
reach the Terminal, look out for Genting Highland’s booth. The bus from here will take you up
to the Awana Skyway where you have to take the cable car up to Genting. The fare all in is
RM8.50 for one adult.
The site below shows the cost and schedule of the buses. Have Fun!
