Interview a
      Farmer
   Presentation
Maggie Robertson
Gr. 4 - MC Knoll School
Introduction of my Papa

My Papa used to be a farmer. He
spent most of his life on the
farm. He has lots of interesting
       stories. Papa is retired from
      farming and lives in Weyburn
             with my Grandma

       Willy Nimegeers
What Did I Learn?
• Wheat was the most popular crop when my
    Papa was young.
• When he grew up, canola became more
    popular.
• I was surprised when my Papa said his mom
    worked harder than his dad.
• I also learned that flax was the most
    profitable crop for my Papa.
My Favourite Part of the Interview
• I liked when my Papa spoke about the
chores on the farm. Most of the work on the
farm had to be done by hand.
• For example, when my Papa was young,
there was not such thing as a rock picking
machine. The rock picker was my Papa.
