1. When it comes to deciding an institution, most people take into account the size of the school.
While some affirm big centres are more convenient, others advocate for small ones. Regardless
of the size, the most relevant factors to consider are: education, friends and cost. // Which is the
best alternative?/ I firmly believe small schools are the most advantageous.
To begin with, fewer people attend to small schools but they often receive more personalized
education. Furthermore, teachers can focus on each student’s needs; for instance, curriculum
can be adapted to pupils’ likes and weakest areas.
Another point to consider is that in bigger schools there are higher chances of getting to know
more people due to larger number of students. Nevertheless, if they go to smaller institutions,
they are more likely to forge long-lasting bonds since being around fewer peers enables them to
connect in a deeper way.
A final factor to take into account is how expensive a large school could be. Students who
attend small institutions may receive the same basic services by paying more affordable fees.
Despite this, it is unquestionable that large schools may have more resources to invest in a
wider array of facilities.
To sum up, I strongly believe that attending small schools is better for several reasons. As well
as having the chance of having life-long relationships, pupils can also receive quality education
at a lower fee.
