Reactions.
Today we made volcanoes.
First we were split into four groups of four, (a mix
of Year 1-3’s). Then we wenT down To The sand piT
where we built our volcanoes and little towns,
villages and forests.
When we were finished building we put a little
plastic cup inside our volcanoes. This would hold
the baking soda and red food colouring.
We poured the vinegar into our volcanoes. There
was a chemical reaction between the baking soda
and the vinegar. They frothed together and shot
out of our volcanoes. The red food colouring made
