Conclusions



•   BOPP is a growing market.

•   There are different trends in different regions:
    - some markets like Europe are under pressure to consolidate
    - other markets still see new players joining the game, like India or China

•   Main challenge for BOPP manufactures are:
    - balancing production efficiency with ever increasing customer requirements
    - coping with increasing volatility of raw material costs

The way forward….
• Continue to add value to the business by:
  - supply chain optimization (rolling stocks, consignment stocks,…)
  - joint developments
  - improve product offering, like metallised barrier films
        The increased need for a UV light barrier film
                      Demand for foil-like packaging is growing…...
                                  Cost effective oxygen and moisture barrier films….
