Dear Sir/ Ma’am,
I am Indian national and teaching History both the level (IBDP&IGCSE) in a very reputed International
school.I have also experienced in teaching AP History.
I’ve almost 15 years of teaching experience in India which makes me comfortable working with
different nationals of secondary level and to better prepare students for university study .... I’m
inquisitive, very energetic, dependable, and self-motivated.
Having taught history for 13 years gives me confidence in knowing about the knowledge of different
culture as well.I seek to instill confidence in my students with a humorous and understanding attitude.
As is evident from my CV I had my college and University education at Delhi University. No wonder I was
exposed to the finest intellectual and academic environment possible in India.
I, on my own, made it a point to attend all kinds of seminars and conferences held in the Capital during
my stint as a student, thus broadening my intellectual perspective. Besides, I kept trying for Indian
Administrative exams and therefore always kept myself acquainted with the current affairs and all
political developments not only in the national but also in the International arena.
As history & Geography were my optional papers for all my Civil Service exams and I went all out to
acquire expertise in these subject.
It is because of the above factors that I believe I am a history teacher par excellence.I have an
experience in teaching IB students.
I have always liked playing evening games with my boarding children. In my existing school we used to
gather for intellectual talk in the evening with IB students(TOK).I must say I love boarding life where I
can spend my time with my boarding children.
I assure you that given a chance, I will work with best of my abilities.
