PPL DAY 2 : HIGHLIGHTS

PPL September 2019 Day 2 had some real swings that kept us
on the edge of our seats through and through. The leader
boards have started taking a shape filtering the consistent
performers from lucky runners.
PPL #7 : 2 LAKH GTD
This event since the moment it was announced was hailed as
the most fun tournament of the series. The hyper turbo 4 max
format saw many swings and deep runs from stacks as shallow
as less than 5 BB. The event as with almost all PPL events
cleared its guarantee with 248500 as the final prize pool
“rithiktawari” shipped the event outright without having to use
any bullets with an impressive payout of Rs. 48283.
“rubyworld” “bassist” and “bisadip176” followed in 2 3 and
4 position with 0, 2 and 0 bullets respectively.

2. PPL #8 : 5 LAKH GTD
The event saw 229 players with 212 re entries. Another
shorthanded event i.e 6 max right after a 4 max event had
players adjusted ranges and saw a more balanced play
compared to the shove happy modes in 4 max. “Thefacebook”
shipped the event after using 5 bullets, a risky but worthwile in
the end approach seemed to work out with him cashing him Rs.
110801. “ideatheater11” “pavanjain” and “pranavbang1”
followed in 2 3 and 4 position with 0, 2 and 0 bullets
respectively.

PPL #9 : 15 LAKH GTD
One of the top 3 most valuable tournaments of the series and
also one of the cheapest main events in PPL Valuetown is no
doubt a crowd favourite. The guarantee of 15 lakh was easily
shattered early and the prize pool grew by an impressive 30%
hike at 3 lakh. The event hosted 771 players with 455 reentries
taking the pool to a massive figure of 1839000 . “Potli6007”
shipped the event without using extra bullets with an
impressive payout of Rs. 309319. “awara79” “pinnug” and
“poker1987” followed in 2 3 and 4 position with 0,7 and 0
bullets apparently.

PPL #10 : 10 Lakh GTD
The event carried on the shorthanded format theme of the day
and saw an even finetuned version of PPL #8 in terms of game
play The event had 191 players and rentries were limited to
169. “kingsas” shipped the event by taking 3 bullets with an
impressive payout of Rs. 264600, “Button_Hai_Bro”,
“neeraj2828” and Leaderboard topper “therealokimon” took 2
3 and 4 place.

Bullets: This PPL season so other than a few events players
are playing with a realistic approach with bullets this time
around as suggested in our earlier blog

have at least 2 players with no need for extra bullets.
