- 19. Prayer of Confession Lord Jesus, it’s easy for me to pick on those early disciples for their lack of courage, for their cowardice, for their hiding when things got hot. But that’s me, too, Lord. I’ve hid my faith when I felt uncomfortable. I’ve betrayed you in different ways.
- 20. Prayer of Confession Then there’s the guilt I feel when I let you down. And I do let you down often. I know I don’t deserve your forgiveness, but I do long for it. I long to hear your words “Peace be with you”.
- 21. Prayer of Confession Lord, over Holy Week, I did see you clearly. I encountered your grace in in a most powerful way. Help me not to forget that. Help me to remember you. During the good times and the bad, help me to remember the peace you came to bring me. And help me to share that peace with others. Amen.
