This document provides information on uploading creatives to DCM campaigns. It discusses the types of creatives handled, including static, HTML5, rich media and video files. A. TYPES
We handle the following type of assets:
• Static: These are all the jpg, jpeg and gif files.
• HTML5: A markup language composed by a group
of zipped files, used for structuring and presenting
content.
• Rich Media: They are advanced HTML zipped files
that may include video, expandable banners,
games among others.
• Stream Videos: Videos in format FLV and MP4

Since sites and ad servers work within an advertising protocol (or guidelines from the clients) we
got to make sure the assets meet these specs :

• File name
• File extension type
• Dimension
• Size
• Trademark
• CTA (cliktag area)
• Clicktag usability
• Static backup matches HTML’s last
frame

• DCM’s HTML5 validator: This is a Google tool that allows us to check things
like: file size, click tags existence (and hard coded checking),
missing/unneeded assets, SSL URL compliance,
• Excel template: This is an excel file used as a guideline for what is required
to be checked out along the creatives’ QA process.

Once we have QA’d the creatives is time to upload them to DCM (ad server)
DCM has an option called Batch upload which let us upload several creatives at the
same time.
For HTML creatives, we need to upload ALWAYS both, the HTML5 zipped file along
with its static back up image file [jpg or gif].

• STEP 1. Select the NEW, followed by the
Creative Batch upload option

your creative, by clicking on
your choice. Creative Assets
is the Default alternative, as
the creative are usually
located in a local drive.

• STEP 3. Click on the Upload
Files button, followed by the
selection of the files you
would like to upload.

selected to be uploaded, the process
would begin, by showing an Uploading
percentage bar. Wait until this process is
completed.

• STEP 5. The Organize Files views you the possibility to modify the files names before
uploading them into DCM. Once the names are as required, click on the NEXT button

• STEP 6. Previous to complete the Batch Upload process, a confirmation view would let you
confirm that everything accomplishes the requirements. If so, click the SAVE button.
Otherwise, go back to the previous step. Creative Batch upload option
