Now a days electricity become very
costly and the world also started
Inventing eco-friendly machines.
The pedal operated hack saw is an
eco-friendly machine which do not
consume any electricity and runs on
human power.
Also it gives exercise to the human
body
4. Components required:
1. Hack saw 2. pedal arrangement 3.pipe vice
3. Stand for pedal arrangement 4. seating arrangement
7. Construction:
The bicycle frame is fixed with mild steel base by
welding.
Pedal arrangement is arranged by welding.
Chain is connected between sprocket and crank disc.
A connecting rod is connected between crank disc and
hack saw frame.
The two hack saw frames are supported by pillar
rods.
8. Advantages:
1. Time saving as compared to simple hacksaw
2. Power saving as it is manually operated
3. Easy machinery used
4. As it is pedal operated so good for health
5. Comfortable than ordinary hacksaw
6. It is portable
9. Disadvantages:
1. It’s totally manually operated
2. Time consuming as compared to electrical power
hacksaw
3. With out human effort its not operated
4. Not fit for heavy production
10. Conclusion:
The pedal operated hack saw is fabricated with
simple design and less cost which reduces the human
effort. It also used for daily needs . It’s also useful for
industrial applications. It is also portable to any place.
So the conclusion is if this machine is used , it would
be very easy to cut the metals , wooden pieces ,
plastic and PVC pipes etc.
And health benefits are also obtained.
