1. Listen (get advice from outsiders including peers)
2. Make sure someone is in charge
3. User friendly Content (Pictures are usually great to
manage)
CHAPTER 2: PROBLEMS
Good and Bad Content
Good : Easily read by others
Engaging
Organized
Simple
BAD: Way too Much Writing
Pointless information
Unorganized
Team Work Needed
A lot of time structure, format and you have to revise !

 Choose what works best for your content strategy
 Make sure your website have critical information
 What isn't content strategy ?

CHAPTER 4: ALIGNMENT
 Alignment is : Providing factual information about content, each
other and strategy information.
 Different type of stakeholders
1. People who can fund your project
2. Decision makers
3. Genuine people who are interested in your brand
CHAPTER 5: AUDIT
 Understanding that audits are an assest in content evaluation and
much more
1. Be effective
2. Ask others for inputs
3. Make sure your goals match your content strategy
4. Choosing audit determines your interest and what your
interesting in learning
CHAPTER 6:ANALYSIS
COMMUNICATION
Be willing to get outside opinion and inputs
Have questionnaires basic interviews, use the popular social
network .
Make sure your message is clear
CHAPTER 7: CORE
 Remember that core strategies are long term directs for
content related initiatives.
 Make sure your core strategy is Flexible, memorable a and
motivational . ( Have your audience coming back for more)
 Be vocal
CHAPTER 8:CONTENT
 Be sure to know the audience you are addressing
 Mention purpose and goal
 Have a primary message, something the audience can run
with.
 Mention important details: persuade and entertain your
audience
CHAPTER 9: PEOPLE
 Learning how to make decisions, and communicate the right way.
 Giving everyone specific roles and or tasks. (Documenting all
information)
 Maintaining your content
 You must have accuracy, consistence, timeliness and you must
engage your audience.
 Make others feel important, patience is key.
CHAPTER 10:PERSUASSION
 Have personality, show your passion.
 Be organized
 Show Do’s and Don’t’s of good content
 Stay motivated, Keep pushing
CHAPTER 11:ADVOCACY
 (Pleading for or supporting something)
 Be yourself “talk straight not tech” (try not to confuse clients)
 Keep it short and interesting
 Be a firm believer and express your content information. Be and
engager
