2. We created the distribution company “Zack’ary” and we
decided our film will be independent because it will be
produced entirely outside of the major film studio system.
3. Marketing
Because our film is independent and low budget, we are
not able to invest tons of money into advertising it on big
billboards. However, our advertising methods, such as
social media, can reach a wide audience and appeal to
many many people.
The page so far has 8,221 likes which means for the short
amount of time we managed to appeal to many people.
4. Our twitter page, which has already 126 followers.

5. Another way to advertise our film is through film
festivals. East End film festival (EEFF), held in
London, is one of the UK’s largest film festivals. Its
mission is to discover, support and exhibit the work
by global and local independent filmmakers, as well
as to introduce the viewers to innovative and
challenging cinematic experiences. Attracting an
audience of more than 30,000, the EEFF can help a
lot with our marketing purposes.
6. Axiom films
A distributor company, similar to ours, is
Axiom film. This is a leading independent
label that brings together a range of film
activities.
8. Distribution through Vimeo
Vimeo is another way for video sharing, other than
YouTube. For just £159 per year, we can upgrade our
Basic membership to Pro, which is for professionals
and businesses. Vimeo Pro membership has many
benefits, such as:
- Having private, unlisted review pages
- Adding our logo to the video player
- Being able to sell our videos
