The Intellect is Environmental:
An HR Perspective of Environmental Determinism

0.0 Preamble
It is now possible to teach, as well as to learn, creativity. In this case creativity is conceptualized
as the capacity to discern forms, using a form of levitation by leveraging, to identify purpose at
three, 3 successive levels above the phenomenon being analyzed. Given the phenomenon that is
to be created therefore, the fundamental purpose for which the phenomenon is to be brought into
being, is identified. This item would then be leveraged, to fulfill the desired phenomenon. The
purpose so identified, would have served as a levitation of the desired goal. This process is
repeated, to levitate the purpose. This derives another purpose, at the second, 2nd
level of
levitation; which would be leveraged to fulfill the purpose at the first, 1st
level. In the third, 3rd
iteration, the process is concluded with the derivation of the purpose at the third, 3rd
level of
analysis. The three, 3 items so derived, define the form of the object that is to be created. And
together, the four, 4 items outline the four, 4 strategic objectives that would be kept in view,
through the lifespan of the project.
Recall the principle of the management by objectives, MBO which may have fizzled out for the
lack of the appropriate methodology with which to operationalize the concept. Recall also that by
the trajectory principle, because of the curved nature of space, aim would usually need to be
higher than the desired goal for goal-attainment; according to the distance between the target and
the person. Thirdly, recall that whatever gets measured gets done. And the first, 1st
stage of
measurement involves the derivation of the essential elements of the phenomenon, which would
then be mapped into the number line. The discernment of forms is actually the first, 1st
step in
the derivation of the fifteen, 15 item business case, as evidence that an idea can be reduced
into value; and subsequently, wealth. Serially:
Indeed, what is new about this procedure is the
rationalization, Rn of a process that has hither to
been limited to the intuition, Pc. This limitation
may have restricted the capacity for creative
thought to only a hand of humanity. Thus 1% of
humanity has been commonly observed to make 99% of the wealth. And 20% create 80% of the
value. This had to be so, until certain things happened:
First, 1st
De Broglie needed to make the jump that recognized all phenomena as waves.
Then the intellect needed to be clearly attributed to the environment in a second. 2nd
jump.

Following Immanuel Kant, these jumps have a history:
First, 1st
the industrial revolution exposed the human propensity to create waste.
Then the information revolution identified the solution to the problem of waste as the
process.
And third, 3rd
the knowledge revolution that has now gathered momentum has derived
the standard procedure for the performance at task, to resolve the process.
Like the fifteen, 15 item business case, the discernment of forms is also the first, 1st
step in the
derivation of the standard procedure for the performance at task. Both derivations have been
discussed exhaustively in my other works, also referenced here. The focus of this paper is the
second, 2nd
jump mentioned above. Thus I have worked in the last twenty-eight, 28 years from
1988 to 2016, on the attempt to establish the fact that the intellect is environmental. Given the
environment therefore, the intellect would be determined.
1.00 Montessori
This fact has been demonstrated by Montessori, in the view of the child as one who is naturally
eager for knowledge and capable of initiating learning in a supportive and thoughtfully prepared
learning environment. It has been described as an approach that values the human spirit and the
development of the whole child including their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive aspects.
Components necessary for a program to be considered authentically Montessori for instance
would include multiage groupings that foster peer learning, uninterrupted blocks of work time,
and guided choice of work activity. In addition, a full complement of specially designed
Montessori learning materials would be meticulously arranged and available for use, in an
aesthetically pleasing environment. Thus the teacher, child, and environment create a learning
triangle.
2.00 The Fine-Structure Constant
The fact of the intellect being determined by the environment is also evident in the fine structure
constant, which is denoted by α. The fine-structure constant, α characterizes the strength of the
electromagnetic interaction, and is a fundamental physical constant that is dimensionless. This
pure number is a combination of the electron charge, e the speed of light, c and Planck's
constant, h. It is valued at 7.297 352 5698(24) × 10−3
, with a relative standard uncertainty value
of 3.2 × 10−10
from the model, .
In the definition of worlds it is only the values of the dimensionless constants of nature that
count. It is known for instance that the universe would be very different, if these constants took
values significantly different from those that have been observed. Given a few percent change in
the value of the fine structure constant would therefore be enough to eliminate stars like our Sun.
This has caused some physicists to explore the notion that if the dimensionless physical constants
had sufficiently different values, our universe would be so radically different that intelligent life
would probably not have emerged, and that our universe therefore seems to be fine-tuned for
intelligent life. The anthropic principle would therefore state a logical truism as follows:
The fact of our existence as intelligent beings who can measure physical
constants requires those constants to be such that beings like us can exist
3.0 The Three, 3 Laws of Performance
The three, 3 laws of performance and their six, 3 corollaries are a conceptual demonstration of
this fact as follows:
1. Optimum performance would be evident in the normality of the curve
1. The universe would be an investment in the human character, C with the
quality of soul, S that emerges as the expected return on investment;
according to the commitment, C’ to the task of soul building, which would be
evident in the quality of thought, f0
2. The typical human who is alive would be either a survivor or a hazard
according to what they know, which would be a consequence of work for
sustenance; but people would also be singles according to how the
knowledge was acquired, which would then be a consequence of work for
soul
2. Growth would be evident in a curve that is left skewed
1. Whether thought, f0 remains at the level of objectivity, f0p where people
are trained to adopt procedures, and to which training obedience is
expected; or whether it deeps into motives, f0b where learning entails the
reconstruction of the standard procedure for the performance at task as the
derivation of the four, 4 strategic objectives, thought, f0 would still predict
behavior, Po for f0 = 2Po – 1
2. The factors that distinguish between thought, f0 at the levels of
objectivity, f0p and motives, f0b would include the capacity to predict the
appraised performance, ROIApp from the soul, S as well as the stability of
the features that describe the four, 4 strategic contents of the human
character, including self-control, ScR self-containment, ScT retention,
RtN and motives, f0b
3. A curve that is right skewed would indicate decay
1. People would usually be gregarious, needing to band together in groups;
to take advantage of the synergy, for ROIApp – ROIF in fulfillment of the
principle of one for all and all for one
2. For the fulfillment of the principle of from each according to their abilities
and to each according to their needs people would be valued according to
their perspectives of reality, F which perspective would be a product of the
resolution of the relativity question, as evident in their choices and
decisions; which choices and decisions define their worth, ROIApp for
which they may be retained, RtN or not
4.00 The Productivity Model
For operationalization, the personality, F is valued to quantify productivity and evaluate the
size, Nu of the human according to the capacity to derive the four, 4 strategic objectives, for Nu
→ 4; as well as to locate, Ps humans on the Pareto 80 – 20 Continuum, for Ps → 20%. Recall
the Pareto principle, following which 80% of the work in most organizations would be done by
20% of the workforce. This observation positions, Ps the 20%ters as the strike team of
leadership, who would be domain experts, and sufficiently large, Nu to reduce tasks into the
standard procedure of four, 4 strategic objectives.
5.00 Creativity
And for establishment, the work culture creates the enabling environment to teach as well as to
learn creativity; which translates this concept from its traditional domain as intuition, Pc to
make it rational, Rn and therefore teachable. The factors Pc and Rn are evaluated on the
identity kit, Id-K which is calibrated according to the demands of the corollary-3.2 presented
above. Their values are then passed through a simulation of the process of creative thought, to
evaluate the factors F, S, and C for personality, F soul, S and character, C respectively. It has been
observed that given the factor-S, the factor-C would be determined, as expressed on the corollary-1.1,
for A = LF2
: S = 1 / √L and C = 1/19 A + 1. The simulation is presented below:
5.00 Continuity and Conservation
For proof, given the factor-C, the factors C1 and C2 are determined as Cb and Cp respectively, for
subjects who are stable. See table below:
This proof is
actually a
demonstration
of the
continuity and
conservation
principles,
following
which energy
would neither
be created nor
destroyed; but remains the same at the beginning of, and at the end of a process. In this case
however, this would hold only for a workforce that is stable, as evidence of normality. Two, 2 other
categories of the workforce include the singles and the productive, as summarized in the series below:
To be stable, the person would need to be
predicted on the factor-C, as above. This
would also mean stability on the four, 4
strategic features that define the human
character, C. For the single, it would be
sufficient to derive the four, 4 strategic objectives. This would be evident in a soul factor-S that
predicts the appraised performance, ROIApp. Productivity merely requires that the workforce is
able to perform at task by the standard procedure, which will have been derived by someone else
that may include the stable and single.

  • 1. The Intellect is Environmental: An HR Perspective of Environmental Determinism By Peter Anyebe 0.0 Preamble It is now possible to teach, as well as to learn, creativity. In this case creativity is conceptualized as the capacity to discern forms, using a form of levitation by leveraging, to identify purpose at three, 3 successive levels above the phenomenon being analyzed. Given the phenomenon that is to be created therefore, the fundamental purpose for which the phenomenon is to be brought into being, is identified. This item would then be leveraged, to fulfill the desired phenomenon. The purpose so identified, would have served as a levitation of the desired goal. This process is repeated, to levitate the purpose. This derives another purpose, at the second, 2nd level of levitation; which would be leveraged to fulfill the purpose at the first, 1st level. In the third, 3rd iteration, the process is concluded with the derivation of the purpose at the third, 3rd level of analysis. The three, 3 items so derived, define the form of the object that is to be created. And together, the four, 4 items outline the four, 4 strategic objectives that would be kept in view, through the lifespan of the project. Recall the principle of the management by objectives, MBO which may have fizzled out for the lack of the appropriate methodology with which to operationalize the concept. Recall also that by the trajectory principle, because of the curved nature of space, aim would usually need to be higher than the desired goal for goal-attainment; according to the distance between the target and the person. Thirdly, recall that whatever gets measured gets done. And the first, 1st stage of measurement involves the derivation of the essential elements of the phenomenon, which would then be mapped into the number line. The discernment of forms is actually the first, 1st step in the derivation of the fifteen, 15 item business case, as evidence that an idea can be reduced into value; and subsequently, wealth.   • 2. Following Immanuel Kant, these jumps have a history: First, 1st the industrial revolution exposed the human propensity to create waste. Then the information revolution identified the solution to the problem of waste as the process. And third, 3rd the knowledge revolution that has now gathered momentum has derived the standard procedure for the performance at task, to resolve the process. Like the fifteen, 15 item business case, the discernment of forms is also the first, 1st step in the derivation of the standard procedure for the performance at task. Both derivations have been discussed exhaustively in my other works, also referenced here. The focus of this paper is the second, 2nd jump mentioned above. Thus I have worked in the last twenty-eight, 28 years from 1988 to 2016, on the attempt to establish the fact that the intellect is environmental. Given the environment therefore, the intellect would be determined. 1.00 Montessori This fact has been demonstrated by Montessori, in the view of the child as one who is naturally eager for knowledge and capable of initiating learning in a supportive and thoughtfully prepared learning environment. It has been described as an approach that values the human spirit and the development of the whole child including their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive aspects. Components necessary for a program to be considered authentically Montessori for instance would include multiage groupings that foster peer learning, uninterrupted blocks of work time, and guided choice of work activity. In addition, a full complement of specially designed Montessori learning materials would be meticulously arranged and available for use, in an aesthetically pleasing environment. Thus the teacher, child, and environment create a learning triangle. 2.00 The Fine-Structure Constant The fact of the intellect being determined by the environment is also evident in the fine structure constant, which is denoted by α. The fine-structure constant, α characterizes the strength of the electromagnetic interaction, and is a fundamental physical constant that is dimensionless. This pure number is a combination of the electron charge, e the speed of light, c and Planck's constant, h. It is valued at 7.297 352 5698(24) × 10−3 , with a relative standard uncertainty value of 3.2 × 10−10 from the model, . In the definition of worlds it is only the values of the dimensionless constants of nature that count. It is known for instance that the universe would be very different, if these constants took

Given a few percent change in the value of the fine structure constant would therefore be enough to eliminate stars like our Sun. This has caused some physicists to explore the notion that if the dimensionless physical constants had sufficiently different values, our universe would be so radically different that intelligent life would probably not have emerged, and that our universe therefore seems to be fine-tuned for intelligent life. The anthropic principle would therefore state a logical truism as follows: The fact of our existence as intelligent beings who can measure physical constants requires those constants to be such that beings like us can exist 3.0 The Three, 3 Laws of Performance The three, 3 laws of performance and their six, 3 corollaries are a conceptual demonstration of this fact as follows: 1. Optimum performance would be evident in the normality of the curve 1. The universe would be an investment in the human character, C with the quality of soul, S that emerges as the expected return on investment; according to the commitment, C’ to the task of soul building, which would be evident in the quality of thought, f0 2. The typical human who is alive would be either a survivor or a hazard according to what they know, which would be a consequence of work for sustenance; but people would also be singles according to how the knowledge was acquired, which would then be a consequence of work for soul 2. Growth would be evident in a curve that is left skewed 1. Whether thought, f0 remains at the level of objectivity, f0p where people are trained to adopt procedures, and to which training obedience is expected; or whether it deeps into motives, f0b where learning entails the reconstruction of the standard procedure for the performance at task as the derivation of the four, 4 strategic objectives, thought, f0 would still predict behavior, Po for f0 = 2Po – 1 2. The factors that distinguish between thought, f0 at the levels of objectivity, f0p and motives, f0b would include the capacity to predict the appraised performance, ROIApp from the soul, S as well as the stability of the features that describe the four, 4 strategic contents of the human character, including self-control, ScR self-containment, ScT retention, RtN and motives, f0b

People would usually be gregarious, needing to band together in groups; to take advantage of the synergy, for ROIApp – ROIF in fulfillment of the principle of one for all and all for one 2. For the fulfillment of the principle of from each according to their abilities and to each according to their needs people would be valued according to their perspectives of reality, F which perspective would be a product of the resolution of the relativity question, as evident in their choices and decisions; which choices and decisions define their worth, ROIApp for which they may be retained, RtN or not 4.00 The Productivity Model For operationalization, the personality, F is valued to quantify productivity and evaluate the size, Nu of the human according to the capacity to derive the four, 4 strategic objectives, for Nu → 4; as well as to locate, Ps humans on the Pareto 80 – 20 Continuum, for Ps → 20%. Recall the Pareto principle, following which 80% of the work in most organizations would be done by 20% of the workforce. This observation positions, Ps the 20%ters as the strike team of leadership, who would be domain experts, and sufficiently large, Nu to reduce tasks into the standard procedure of four, 4 strategic objectives. 5.00 Creativity And for establishment, the work culture creates the enabling environment to teach as well as to learn creativity; which translates this concept from its traditional domain as intuition, Pc to make it rational, Rn and therefore teachable. The factors Pc and Rn are evaluated on the identity kit, Id-K which is calibrated according to the demands of the corollary-3.2 presented above. Their values are then passed through a simulation of the process of creative thought, to evaluate the factors F, S, and C for personality, F soul, S and character, C respectively. It has been observed that given the factor-S, the factor-C would be determined, as expressed on the corollary-1.1, for A = LF2 : S = 1 / √L and C = 1/19 A + 1. The simulation is presented below:

See table below: This proof is actually a demonstration of the continuity and conservation principles, following which energy would neither be created nor destroyed; but remains the same at the beginning of, and at the end of a process. In this case however, this would hold only for a workforce that is stable, as evidence of normality. Two, 2 other categories of the workforce include the singles and the productive, as summarized in the series below: To be stable, the person would need to be predicted on the factor-C, as above. This would also mean stability on the four, 4 strategic features that define the human character, C. For the single, it would be sufficient to derive the four, 4 strategic objectives. This would be evident in a soul factor-S that predicts the appraised performance, ROIApp. Productivity merely requires that the workforce is able to perform at task by the standard procedure, which will have been derived by someone else that may include the stable and single. 3.
