generate a pool of all applications that meet the GPA criteria
— Electronic draw to pick 2000 as shortlist
— Screening panel to review the shortlist and select 250 beneficiaries
based on preset ratios, spread, etc
— If the first batch of 2000 does not generate 250 candidates that meet

6. Scholarship Disbursement
Disburse funds to beneficiaries spread in equal annual instalments
over the duration of study of each beneficiary
Annual payouts to be made at the beginning of each academic
session
Payouts to be coordinated through scholarship administration
machinery in each institution
NOTE:
— Anticipated Challenge: Will funds be made available as at when due?
— Suggested Solution: EDHR to coordinate with the Board and facilitate release and
placement of scholarship fund (N750m) into a dedicated account
Alternative: Disburse funds as one-time payment of N750,000 to each beneficiary (with the
risk of misuse of the scholarship)
