His love for us in this-that while we
were sinners, Christ died for us.

your mouth, âJesus is Lordâ and
believe in your heart that God raised

Missionaries: Joseph & Emmanuela Asong
Joseph began ministry with the Grace Churches in Cameroon
in 2002. With a burning desire to serve God as a missionary,
Joseph expressed his need for training, and Grace Ministries
International (GMI) supported him while he studied at the
Theological College of Central Africa (TCCA) in Zambia, for
four years (2005 â 2008). He graduated with a Bachelors in
Theology in Missions, minoring in Pastoral Studies. After
graduation, he returned home to Cameroon and served as a
GMI Missionary Intern from 2009-2010. During this time, he
helped revive some Grace Churches in Cameroon and
worked with the leadership there to restructure and focus the vision of the ministry. It was
during this time that Joseph met his precious wife, Emmanuela, and they married in 2011
and have two lovely children, Princess and Sammy. Joseph and Emmanuela arrived in
Malawi in June 2012 and worked with others to establish the first Bible School with the
Grace Churches in Malawi. In 2016 this first Bible School in Lilongwe graduated the first
six students from the English program. Three Chichewa Bible Schools have also been
started in three different locations by their Theology team in Malawi. Theological education
and leadership training has been their primary focus, but they are involved in other minis-
tries, such as preaching and teaching in Lilongwe, as well as in other Grace Churches
scattered all over Malawi. They are also involved in Church Planting and are working to
start an Urban Grace Church in the city of Blantyre.
Titus and Kristy never imagined ministering in Africa,
but it has now proven to be a perfect fit. After a short
visit in February 2007, they fell in love with Zambia
and the ministry being done there. After much
prayer, they felt that God was leading them to Africa.
While in Zambia, Titus organized and oversaw the
computer training center and Internet cafĂŠ. In Sep-
tember 2009, the Lloydsâ ministry shifted to Malawi. Titus helps to facilitate different
ministries with Grace Church in Malawi working directly with church leaders in areas of
mentoring, translation, and training. The Lloyds also partner with African Bible College
where Titus teaches junior high, senior high, and college computer courses. He is also
the âgo toâ guy for all computer needs both on campus and throughout the missionary
community. Kristy homeschools their children and offers her services as an after-school
tutor, as well as helping out wherever there is a need.
