t for healing for Renae Vander Haar who had sinus
surgery last week;
t for healing for Fay Griffin who fell on the ice
over three weeks ago and still has severe pain in her
ribs and shoulder.
t for improvement in health for Don Lawton as he
continues his dialysis treatments;
t for healing for Linda Furbush’s grandson, Brandon,
who had surgery on 2/17 to place a rod and plate in
his broken arm which occurred during a wresting
match;
t for healing for Cathy Raby’s brother, Pat, who
has a staph infection in the area where his leg was
amputated. If it doesn’t heal, he will need to have
more of his leg amputated;
t for Goldie Johnson’s friend, Nancy Pebbles, who
had hip surgery again & will be in rehab for 6 weeks;
t for all in our church family who have had recent
surgeries and illnesses;
t for Phyllis Mars’ son who is very depressed due
to the death of his girlfriend and job issues;
t for the homebound in our church including:

Dear Friends at Parkside: Thanks so much for your support
for us and God’s work in Malawi. God has been so good to call
us there and we are looking forward to what He will accomplish
in the upcoming years. We consider it a privilege to be your
missionaries and we appreciate all your prayers and support. We’re excited as
we only have 3 more churches to visit before we leave for Malawi on March 20.

Sr. High Youth Group BOWLING TONIGHT, 2/22, FROM 6-8 PM.
The cost is $10 which includes bowling and pizza. Meet at church at 6:00 pm

FREE FOOD FOR LOW INCOME FAMILIES The Ottawa Co. Community Action Agency
will be distributing food to low income families in Ottawa County this Friday, February 27,
at Community Action House located at 345 West 14th Street in Holland. Pick up an
informational sheet at the Growth & Outreach Counter.
SOFTBALL TIME! CAA Softball leagues are now forming! Men, women and Co-ed teams
will be representing churches & ministries all across the area for some fun, fellowship, and
friendly competition. If you’d like to put together a team, please contact LoriJo at Barnabas

2. WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY Join the group this Wednesday
evening at 6:30 p.m. for “The Grace by Which We Stand” taught by Harold
Kimbel. This week’s class will be on Prayer. The class meets in Room A-3 in
the new addition.
MEN & BOYS BEAST FEAST Guys, plan to attend the Missions Beast Feast
this Friday at 6:30 p.m. at the church. Bring a wild game dish or any other
main dish or dessert. Sign up to attend on the insert in the bulletin and put
it in the offering plate today...or give it to Pastor Matt or Ryan VanderHaar.
MISSIONS SUNDAY NEXT WEEK You should have received a letter and
pledge card in the mail to support our missionaries. Next Sunday we would
like the cards turned in. If you have misplaced your card, more will be

Missions Festival

There’s a few spots left! If you haven’t yet signed up for dinner with
Pastor Gary and Sue, please sign up on the sheets located at the
welcome center. They are inviting the Congregation to their home
for dinner and to get to know everyone better. The dinners are being
held on specified Tuesdays and Thursdays through the end of April and
will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at 3916 Tall Grass East Court in Holland
(near 160th & Quincy.) This is for the whole family so bring the kids!
If you would like to attend but there are not enough openings for your
family, please add your name to the blank paper located at the Welcome
Center and you will be contacted regarding a future date.
