THE GOSPEL…
Genesis 1:1 - God made everything.
Genesis 1:31 - God made everything
perfectly - No death or suffering.
Genesis 3:17-19 - The punishment
for sin is death. Due to sin, the world
is no long perfect.
Romans 5:12 - Because our mutual
grandfather, Adam, sinned, we now
sin too.
Romans 3:23 - We need to realize
that all are sinners, including
ourselves.
Romans 10:9 - We must trust in
Jesus Christ as the One who died in
our place, paying the punishment for
our sin on the cross; resurrected in
victory over death.
Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by grace are
you saved through faith and not of
yourselves. It is a gift from God, not
of works, lest any man should boast.
IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS OR WOULD
LIKE TO DISCUSS YOUR RELATIONSHIP

GARY, PASTOR JOE, OR CALL THE
CHURCH OFFICE.

4. Special Event
All Parkside attendees and
guests are invited to a special
Super Senior meeting on
Wednesday, October 24 at
10:30 am in the Fellowship
Area. Jay Riemersma will be
our special speaker to discuss
the November 6th
midterm
elections. Many believe this
election is one of the most important in recent years.
There will be 35 of the 100 Senate seats (including
one from Michigan) and all 435 House seats on this
midterm ballot. Traditionally, voter turnout for
midterm elections is much lower than for
presidential elections making this one even more
critical.
Jay, a member of Parkside Bible Church, will be
the speaker and will discuss the importance of
Christian citizenship: why it important for
Christians to vote and make their voice heard; what
are thecurrent threats to religious liberty, and what
are some recent victories. Most importantly, he will
be encouraging all members to stay engaged in the
process from a Christian worldview.
A soup and sandwich lunch will follow - please RSVP
at the Welcome Center.
