CHURCH PANTRY
For the month of November, we are accepting donations of
Thanksgiving and holiday items, The drop box is located in the
Fellowship Hall next to the Women’s Ministry Counter.
YOUTH GROUP
Parkside Youth is meeting tonight at 6:00 p.m.! All students in 6th-
12th grade are invited to join us for games, food and digging into the
topic of Identity. Tonight we will be looking at the life of Jacob and
his identity in his own successes as well as competing for some
awesome prizes. Don’t miss out!
We still want you to sign up for our Fall Retreat at Grace Adventures!
We want as many of our young people as possible to go. If the $85
payment is an issue, please talk to Moses about scholarships and spon-

2. EMPTY NESTERS Come join us this Saturday, November 9th at Northland Lanes on
River Avenue for bowling! Arrive at 2:30 p.m. The cost is $6 per person for 2 games and
shoes! After bowling, we will go right next door to Pizza Hut at 4:00 for an early dinner.
If you’re at that stage of life where your kids are grown and out of the house (or close to
it!), we woud love to have you join us! If you have questions, contact Sue Spykerma at

GETTING TO KNOW YOU CLASSES Please see the insert in the bulletin today for a
way for those fairly new to Parkside to learn more about Parkside’s core values and to
get to know others! The classes are held at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings (during
Family Bible Hour).
WOMEN’S EVENT The holidays are coming and LIFT is sponsoring an event this
month with that in mind! Come hear a devotional on Biblical hospitality and learn more
from a special guest who specializes in the art of charcuterie. If you’ve never heard of it,
google it and attend this event! If you don’t want to google it, attend this event and find
out what it is! This is for every lady of Parkside and any lady guests. The class will meet
on Thursday November 14th at 6:30 pm. in the youth room. Sign up at the Women’s

HEARTFELT STITCHES MINISTRY We have exciting news - We are starting a new
ministry at Parkside called “Heartfelt Stitches Ministry!” Do you love to sew, knit or
crochet? Or maybe, you just want to cut fabric. If so, we would love for you to join us!
Our new ministry will be prayerfully making items to show our love and care to others
which will be given to the elderly/shut-ins, sick children, babies and missions outreach.
We are having our initial meeting to discuss our plans for the ministry on Saturday,
November 16, at 10:00 a.m. here at the church and hope to have workshops in the very
near future. Please feel free to reach out to either Bev Brookhouse (399-1082) or Deb
DeJonge (422-1104 or deb.dejonge2@gmail.com) for more information.
SUPER SENIORS Join us for our next Super Senior meeting will be on Wednesday,
November 20, (note: change in date) at 10:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Area. Our speaker
will be Pastor Ken Gentzler, Director of Spiritual Care and the Program Director at the
Holland Rescue Mission. Lunch will be provided at church following the program.
